The first meeting was held by the Health Assembly 2008 Organizing Committee and presided over by Dr. Suwit Wibulpolprasert.
The 2008 Health Assembly Organizing Committee was appointed by the National Health Committee with the duty to draft official systems, conditions, and plans for the National Health Assembly according to the National Health Act. The Committee held its first meeting in preparation for the National Health Assembly which will be organized this December, 2008.
