Global Network Summary: 27 Countries in 4 Networks


National Health Commission Office (NHCO) works with 4 networks global wide focusing on Health in All Policies, Population Consultation, Health Impact Assessment and National Health Assembly. We aim to build collaboration and promote the participatory public policies process based on wisdom.





Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP): 15 Countries


GNHiAP is a country-led initiative that was launched by Ministry of Health (Sudan), National Health Commission Office (Thailand), Ministry of Health (South Australia) and Ministry of Health and Social Service (the Province of Quebec) at the side event to the World Health Assembly in 24 May 2017.

GNHiAP is aimed at working with different stakeholders across sectors at all levels to address the determinants of health by strengthening the Health in All Policies approach. Our mission is to support the implementation of the SDGs and UHC by building capacity, sharing knowledge, networking and advocacy on Health in All Policies”.

Health Impact Assessment in ASEAN Network : 10 Countries


In 2010, Health Impact Assessment (HIA) was introduced to Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which is a regional intergovernmental organization consisting of 10 member states namely Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Thailand is appointed by ASEAN as the lead countries on HIA accordingly.

The HIA in ASEAN Network is a loose network embracing both the Government Agencies and Universities in ASEAN with the objective for capacity building on HIA to health professionals, investors and community.

Population Consultation Network: 4 Countries


Population consultations are at the heart of the continuous dialogue between the government, decision-makers, other health stakeholders and the population to strategize health development and public policies.

World Health Organization in collaboration with National Health Commission Office (Thailand), Ministry of Health and Medical Education (Islamic Republic of Iran), Ministry of Public Health (Tunisia) and Sciences Po's School (France) are interested in study more on population consultations, in which each country has different practices.






National Health Assembly Network (NHA): 3 Countries


Brazil, Thailand and Uganda have National Health Assembly in common, but differences in the structures, institutions and process. The three countries jointly studied participatory public policy process (P4): lessons learned from National Health Assemblies in 2013. The result of the study was shared in national and international events.
