Thailand’s National Health Assembly concept introduced in Kyrgyzstan.

Today (April 17,2024), the World Health Organization Kyrgyzstan and the National Health Commission Office (NHCO) Thailand (NHCO), along with the national partners, held a telebridge session to introduce the National Health Assembly concept to Kyrgyzstan.
This marks the first exchange event where Thailand’s rich experience is shared with Kyrgyz stakeholders, including the Ministry of Public Health (MoP) with aims to foster knowledge exchange, adapt best practice, explored avenues for collaboration and knowledge transfer between the two nations, and discussion on a potentially adapting best practices to enhance healthcare governance and citizen participation in health policy decision-making processes. Delegates from Thailand’s National Health Commission Office shared valuable insights, best practices, and lessons learned from their experience with the National Health Assembly.
