Regional Director WHO SEAR met NHCO Thailand
On June 13, 2024, Ms. Saima Wazed, Regional Director World Health Organization South-East Asia Region – WHO SEARO and Dr Jos Vandelaer, WHO Representative to Thailand met Dr. Suthep Petchmark, Secretary-General of National Health Commission and his team at the National Health Commission Office (NHCO) Thailand and discussed key health and health related public policy developments and strategies for promoting social participation to support healtg and well-being across the region. The meeting highlighted the importance of Social Participation which is the WHA 77 resolution and SEA/RC 75 resolution and including the issue of International Trade and Health.
